CANADA CO-OP Intership Program Program Details

  • Enroll in a Designated Learning Institution (DLI) in Canada
  • and study for up to 4 months.
  • Work full-time in Canada in a skilled trade occupation
  • (carpenter, electrician, plumber).
  • Earn an income from CAD 26,000 to CAD 35,000 within 41
  • weeks.
  • Receive a certificate of program completion from Canadian
  • institutions

CANADA CO-OP Intership Program Application Process

  •  Pass the IELTS English exam and be accepted into the DLI
  • skilled trade program.
  • Obtain a Canadian study permit and travel to Canada to
  • complete the skilled trade program.
  • After completing 20 weeks of the program, work full-time at a
  • designated Canadian company as a carpenter, electrician, or
  • plumber.
  • Upon full program completion, be designated as a Level I
  • apprentice.
  • Apply for a work permit to continue working in Canada.
  • Opportunity to apply for permanent residency and citizenship
  • upon meeting language and other requirements.
